Voice Effects
Voice effects bring dialogue to life by adding emotion, attitude, and personality to each spoken moment. Voice effects shape the emotional impact of a line, whether the moment calls for something subtle or overtly dramatic.
How to add voice effects:
1. Select the action or dialogue where you want the voice effect to play.
2. Position your cursor exactly where the sound should occur.
3. Click the sound icon, then select “Add Voice Effect” from the menu.
4. Pick an effect from the list or choose Custom to describe your own.
Custom voice effects are generated by AI based on your description. The more specific you are, the more expressive and accurate the result will be.
Example: “Laughs and snorts”
You can also layer multiple voice effects within a single stream item, giving you even more control over delivery and tone.
Voice Pauses
Voice pauses let you shape the rhythm of your dialogue with precision. By controlling timing and silence, you can heighten tension, highlight important beats, and make conversations feel more realistic and intentional in SoCreate Storyteller.
How to insert a voice pause:
1. Click on the action or dialogue where you want the pause to occur.
2. Place your cursor at the exact point you want the pause.
3. Click the sound icon and select “Add Voice Pause”.
4. An orange pause marker will appear in your story stream, and you can adjust its duration to fit the moment.
