SoCreate member and screenwriter, Jonny White, has created a system that keeps his creativity flowing and his story ideas organized. When it comes to writing itself, SoCreate has transformed his process. “I open it, and after a couple of hours, a scene has been written. That has not been true of other ways I’ve tried to write,” he said.

Jonny’s background reflects his deep curiosity about storytelling. During his Ph.D. in psychology, he once interviewed acclaimed fiction writers to understand how they create, and he now leads a team at xAI, teaching Elon Musk’s large language model to create. Still, he continues to write and explore the intersection of storytelling and technology, open to opportunities in both.
He was first inspired to start writing 25 years ago, when his imagination would spontaneously create scenes in his mind, and he wondered if others might enjoy those scenes as much as he did. He’s currently working on an action comedy about two siblings who fake an alien portal in an attempt to unify humanity.
