The Most Googled Screenplays of 2019 and Where to Read Them

Now that we’re moving into the colder part of the year in the Nothern Hemisphere, or “indoor season” as I like to call it, it’s a great time to cuddle up with some hot cocoa and a great screenplay. Some people read books. We read scripts!

Screenwriters were hungry for scripts this year, and the following titles were among the top 25 search queries related to screenwriting globally in 2019.

So, I’m doing you a solid and aggregating all those scripts below, so you don’t have to go Googling. And bonus! You also don’t have to go outside because now you have a very good “it’s research” excuse to stay cozy on your couch. You are welcome.

That list should keep you busy for a  while. I haven’t read all of these scripts myself yet, but I did get pulled into the first few pages of each of them. When screenwriters are good, they’re good!

I'm looking forward to some downtime to put on my snuggie and warm up with these great stories.
