  • Character: A deceased historical figure of your choice (think Thomas Edison, Billy Holiday, Nicola Tesla, Queen Victoria, Genghis Khan)

  • Scene Description: A car horn honks multiple times as Your Character lies snoring in an all-pink bedroom in suburban Los Angeles in 2023. “HOOOOONK.” Your Character wakes up dazed and totally confused.

  • Prompt: Write a scene that describes how your historical character would interact with their surroundings in this suburban house in the present day and what happens when they finally roam outside to meet the person honking their horn in the driveway.
