Creative Artists Agency

The Screenwriting Life Podcast

The TSL Production team is seeking interns eager to learn about podcast production and have an interest in screenwriting and the entertainment industry. We encourage our interns to take an active role in their internship and propose self-guided projects based on their interests to support The Screenwriting Life Podcast. Basically, if you have ideas to improve the show, our marketing, brand, social media, we’re all ears! Given the small and intimate nature of the team, there will be ample opportunities to ask questions about screenwriting and the industry from everyone on the team. In addition to getting a behind the scenes look at a podcast production, interns will have access to all TSL workshops and live events during their internship. Responsibilities include: Take detailed show notes during episode recordings and workshops; Support Co-Producer with social content creation; Track listener questions and maintain production tracking documents; Support with TSL community communications as needed; Weekly check-ins with Co-producer. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, professional, detail-oriented, friendly, and fluent in Microsoft Excel & Word. A strong interest in the entertainment industry is a must. An understanding of project management tools like Asana, and previous experience with Squarespace and video editing programs like Premiere is a plus. Candidates must be currently enrolled in a degree related program and eligible to receive school credit. The Global Television Department team at Participant Media is seeking a summer intern to support the overall vision, mission, and mandates for the company. The Global Television intern will collaborate creatively with our team to support the overall work of the department and get hands-on experience.  The intern will gain valuable insight into the inner workings of the Global Television industry and an opportunity to develop professional relationships with members of the film & television division within Participant Media. Responsibilities include: Conduct business and development-related research; Assist meeting preparation by providing credits and background materials; Join internal meetings as needed, take notes, and share follow-up materials; Partner with member of department to analyze creative material and submissions; Support research and analysis of ratings and viewing trends to best serve, maintain and grow Participant TV audiences; Assist with updating Network Tracking Documents. Paradiso US is seeking interns for summer 2023 to work with the team on sourcing new ideas, reviewing submissions, and assisting with production tasks. This is a great opportunity for students interested in pursuing careers in production, podcasting, radio, or creative work across film, TV or digital. Interns will have ample access to company meetings and goings on. Potential duties include: script coverage, industry research, schedule recordings, edit audio, manage files systems, help with licensing and clearances and assisting in the creation of pitch decks and social media assets. Ideal candidates have some background in audio development or production, and are strong writers, great communicators, and team players with a no-task-is-too-small attitude. For interns interested in production work, experience editing in ProTools is preferred but not required. Please note that this is an unpaid internship, and school credit is mandatory. Minimum 2 days/week required. This position is remote eligible, but interns based in LA are welcome to work in-person, depending on COVID protocols and work necessities.
